2025 New Art Museum Acquisition: "Green Bird Terrarium" by artist Anita Yan Wong, 2022 has been accepted into the permanent collection at Fresno Art Museum, CA

The Fresno Art Museum's Permanent Collection preserves and protects over 3,600 works. The main focus of the permanent collection and exhibitions is on modern and contemporary artworks (painting, sculpture, prints, photographs, and other media) from the 20th and 21st centuries, Mesoamerican works from Mexico and the Andes, (Art of the Ancient Americas) and modern and folk art of Mexican origin. The permanent collection includes works by Ansel Adams, Ruth Asawa, Salvador Dali, Maynard Dixon, Patty Handley, August Madrigal, Robin Gay McCline, Robert Ogata, Pablo Picasso, Rollin Pickford, Clement Renzi, Diego Rivera, Norman Rockwell, Varaz Samuelian, Anne Schied, Andy Warhol, and Nancy Youdelman, among others. The curatorial staff is working on a searchable database to include all the works in the Permanent Collection. When it is launched, there will be a public portal to review what is in our permanent collection. Visit the Art Museum and see Prof. Anita's original bird painting here
